The Mosaic Oral History Project is an audio project designed to capture and present the rich History we have in the Heights Community. We will canvas the community with MP3 Recrders and interview people in their homes, businesses, along the street, in the restaurants, coffee houses and any other gathering place in our community. These recordings will be edited into reports and posted on the website for all to start getting to know their neighbors and community.

How do I contribute?

Well, anyone can contribute reports to the site as long as they follow a simple formula / methodology.

1) No propaganda! (Even for the founding organazation.)
2) Audio edits must be 5 minutes or less.
3) The publisher must provide us with signed release forms for themselves and anyone recorded on their journey.
4) These are stories that build up our community through reflection and conteplation.
5) Editorialze as little as possible.
6) Audio Geek talk: mp3 format, 128kbs
7) Provide a picture of the people talking in a group at the location where the converstaion took place.
8) Picture Geek Talk: 5M master photo
9) Have fun
10) There ar training classes available to learn how to make these programs and what we are loking for.

This website will launch around Thanksgiving 2009.
